SAN FRANCISCO, CA

San Francisco is by far one of our most favorite places to visit! There is so much to do and see in this city. We also enjoy traveling to Napa and Sonoma for a more relaxing day with incredible wine. We are so excited to share with you some of our favorite restaurants, bars, wineries, and things to do in San Fran!

TOP RESTAURANTS

-WATERFRONT RESTAURANT: This is a super trendy and fun spot right on the water off Pier 9! It's a great happy hour spot. Try to sit outside if it's a nice day!

-EAGLE CAFE: This restaurant is located on Pier 39 and overlooks the sea lions! You will definitely want to sit on the patio to get the best view. Also, you MUST get the clam chowder! It's a great spot to go for lunch. 

-PUCCINI & PINETTI: Our favorite dinner spot in San Fran! It is located right in Union Spare and has delicious, authentic Italian food. If the gnocchi is on the menu, you MUST get it!

-THE CLIFF HOUSE: The Cliff House is an awesome restaurant literally on a cliff overlooking the ocean! It is the perfect place for a classy brunch or a nice dinner. This is definitely a place you will want to visit just to see the great views!

TOP BARS

-THE VIEW LOUNGE: The View Lounge is on the top floor of the Marriott in Union Square. It has windows from floor to ceiling overlooking the amazing city. The bar is perfect for a happy hour drink or for dancing the night away since it turns into a dance club at night. 

-MOMO'S: ​MoMo's is located right across the street from the Giant's stadium. It's the perfect spot to go before or after a baseball game for a drink and pizza!

-JOHNNY FOLEY'S IRISH HOUSE: ​Johnny Foley's is a really fun Irish pub! At night they have a band that plays upstairs and a piano bar downstairs. This is a great spot for live music, dancing and fun!

TOP THINGS TO DO

-BAY CITY CRUISE: This one hour cruise takes you around San Fransisco Bay. You go under the Golden Gate Bridge, around Alcatraz, and pass by Sausalito and Tiburon!

-BIKE THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE: Rent bikes and bike across the Golden Gate Bridge to the cute, little town of Sausalito! In Sausalito you can go shopping at their boutiques and grab a quick bite to eat. If you don't feel like riding back across the Golden Gate Bridge, board one of the ferry's to take you across the bay back to San Francisco! 

-TOUR ALCATRAZ: ​The interactive, audio tour of Alcatraz is definitely worth it! You will want to buy your tickets well in advance, because they sell out quickly. 

-GO TO A GIANT'S GAME: If it is baseball season, try to go see the Giant's play! The stadium is right on the water, which is really neat! 

-SHOPPING IN UNION SQUARE: Spend the day shopping in Union Square, which is full of fun shops and restaurants! 

-VISIT LOMBARD STREET: This is the most crooked street in San Fransisco! You must see it! Either walk or drive down Lombard Street.

-BEACH BLANKET BABYLON:​ If you are looking for something fun to do at night, go to this fun, musical-comedy show! 

TOP PLACES TO VISIT NEAR SAN FRANCISCO

-SAUSALITO: Sausalito is just a ferry ride away from San Francisco! It is the cutest, little town that you have to check out. Sausalito has charming boutiques and fun restaurants. You can either ride your bike over to Sausalito or take one of the ferry's. 

 

-TIBURON: Tiburon is another cute town across the Bay! It has some great restaurants that are perfect for brunch or dinner! Just take a short ferry ride over to Tiburon!

-NAPA VALLEY: Napa Valley is one of the top wine regions in the world! You must check it out! See the next section below to see some of our favorite wineries. 

-SONOMA VALLEY: Sonoma Valley is another wine region located right next to Napa Valley. They have a cute downtown with fun restaurants and shops you will want to check out. 

-REDWOOD NATIONAL PARK: Check out the Redwood National Park to see the tallest trees on earth! 

TOP WINERIES

-V. SATTUI: V. Sattui is by far our favorite winery in Napa! Their wine is excellent and reasonably priced. They also have a great outdoor lawn you can sit and listen to music while drinking wine. To top it off, they have a deli onsite that you can buy buy food to have a picnic in the beautiful lawn!

-STAGS' LEAP: Stags' Leap is the most beautiful winery we have ever been to! The views are gorgeous! This is definitely a place you will want to visit just to take pictures!

-DOMAINE CHANDON​: Domaine Chandon is all about the bubbly champagne! They have a wonderful patio that is the perfect place to relax with a glass of bubbly!
