-CORNER: The Corner Restaurant is a new restaurant at the JW Marriott Hotel downtown. It's a modern, trendy spot with a nice outdoor patio and an awesome brunch. 

-WALTON'S FANCY AND STAPLE: Walton's Fancy and Staple is owned by Sandra Bullock! It is one of the cutest restaurants I've ever been to! It's a great place for breakfast or lunch. 

-TINY BOXWOODS: Tiny Boxwoods is an upscale cafe with beautiful indoor and outdoor seating that's perfect for brunch! They also have famous chocolate chip cookies that you must try!

-ODD DUCK: The Odd Duck is a very unique restaurant serving interesting small plates that are meant to share. It's a one of a kind spot with an upbeat atmosphere.

-SOUTH CONGRESS CAFE: South Congress Cafe is located on South Congress and has an excellent brunch menu filled with award winning Bloody Mary's, carrot cake french toast and of course mimosa's! 

​

-MOONSHINE PATIO BAR AND GRILL: Moonshine Patio Bar and Grill is one of our favorite places to go for brunch or lunch! They are known for their southern comfort food. Sit on the patio if it's nice out!

​

-STUBB'S BAR-B-Q GOSPEL BRUNCH: Every Sunday they have a Gospel Brunch, which is one of the coolest brunch spots we have ever been too! They have live Gospel music and a BBQ buffet. Be sure to buy your ticket online beforehand because they sell out quickly.

-SWIFT'S ATTIC: Swift’s Attic is a trendy, hip spot with delicious small plates and fun cocktails! 

-ITALIC - Italic is an awesome Italian restaurant located in the heart of downtown Austin! It’s got a sleek, modern atmosphere that is perfect for a girls night out or date night!

-SEARSUCKER- Seersucker has an upbeat and lively atmosphere serving fancy cocktails and southern comfort food.

​

-CULINARY DROPOUT: Culinary Dropout is one of our favorite restaurants at the Domain! They are known for their inventive cocktails, comfort food, and outdoor games!

​

-CRU FOOD AND WINE BAR: Another great place at the Domain is Cru! It's a cozy, Napa-style wine bar that is perfect to grab a glass of wine and a cheese board!

​

-UCHI- Uchi is a famous, upscale sushi restaurant in downtown Austin serving contemporary Japanese dishes. 

​

-THE OASIS: The Oasis is a Mexican restaurant right on Lake Travis with absolutely gorgeous views! You must sit on the patio and get one of of their famous margaritas!

6TH STREET BARS: This is the main strip of bars in Austin! West 6th Street is the newer and classier part of 6th Street, while East 6th Street is the more wild part of 6th Street. 

• DOGWOOD: Dogwood is on West 6th Street and is actually where Matt and I met! It's a fun bar serving signature cocktails. 

• KUNG FU SALOON: Kung Fu Saloon is on West 6th Street and is a hip bar with a fun atmosphere and old school games such as foosball and skee-ball.

• CONCRETE COWBOY: Concrete Cowboy is on West 6th Street and is a lively bar perfect for happy hour!

• BLIND PIG: Blind Pig is on East 6th Street and is a lively, upbeat bar with live music and a rooftop dance floor.

• MAGGIE MAE'S: Maggie Mae's is on East 6th Street right next door to the Blind Pig and is another upbeat bar with live music and a rooftop dance floor.

RAINY STREET BARS: Rainy Street is a street of cute, little houses that have been renovated into bars and restaurants. 

• CONTAINER BAR: The Container Bar is by far our favorite bar on Rainy Street! It is made out of shipping containers and has an upbeat vibe! 

• LUCILLE: Lucille is a charming and relaxed cocktail bar that has fun patio games.

OTHER BARS:

• ELEPHANT ROOM: The Elephant Bar is an underground jazz bar! Get here early to get a seat because it fills up quickly!

• ROOSEVELT ROOM: The Roosevelt Room is a sophisticated, upscale bar that serves handcrafted cocktails. 

-PADDLE BOARD: Rent a paddle board on town lake and spend the afternoon cruising around the lake!

-SHOPPING AT THE DOMAIN: Check out the Domain! It's an outdoor shopping mall with restaurants, shops, and bars! 

​

-THE CAPITAL: Take a tour of the capital! 

​

-BARTON SPRINGS POOL: Barton Springs Pool is an outdoor swimming pool filled with water from nearby natural springs. It's the perfect spot to visit in the summer!

​

-SOUTH CONGRESS STREET: South Congress is a trendy street with some original Austin restaurants, live music and picture perfect spots such as the I Love You wall and graffiti park!

​

-RENT A PARTY BOAT ON LAKE TRAVIS: One of our annual summer traditions is to rent a party boat on Lake Travis! 

​

-WHITEWATER AMPHITHEATER: Whitewater Amphitheater is an fun, outdoor music venue in New Braunfels, TX! They are always have big concerts here, so be sure to check out their website to see who is performing while you are in town!

-JW MARRIOTT: The JW Marriott is brand new and is in the heart of Austin with a rooftop pool! It is our favorite place to stay!

-RADISSON DOWNTOWN: The Radisson is our other favorite spot to stay because it is right on Town Lake and it is walking distance from Rainy Street and a lot of other fun restaurants and bars! 

​

-THE DRISKILL: The Driskill hotel is right on 6th Street in the heart of downtown! It is an upscale, historic hotel that is walking distance from everything!

Austin is close to a lot of other fun cities, so if you are in town for a while be sure to check some of these places out! 

​

-FREDERICKSBURG, TX: Fredericksburg is the wine country of Texas! It is a cute little town with a Main Street filled with restaurants and shops and of course a whole highway of wineries! 

​

-BOERNE, TX: Boerne is a cute little city on the way to Fredericksburg that has a neat downtown with cute restaurants and shops! You must check out Cypress Grill or Peggy's on the Green for dinner; Boerne Wine Company for a glass of wine; and Ella Blue for a cute new outfit!

​

-GRUENE, TX: Gruene is a tiny, rustic town on the Guadalupe River that has little shops, wineries, and live music at Gruene Hall! Our favorite restaurant is the Gristmill! You must get the ribs!

​

-SAN ANTONIO. TX: San Antonio is only an hour to an hour and a half away and has so many historic things to see such as the Alamo and the riverwalk! Check out my San Antonio page for recommendations of where to go!
